Job Description :

ARM processors are used across all embedded applications including fast growing markets such as mobile phone, digital TV, set-top-box, navigation, media players, hard disk drives, automotive body and drive-train, printers, digital still cameras, DSL and cable modems, and stand-alone microcontroller devices.

Physical IP products are key enablers of silicon success for today’s SoC designs. ARM’s Physical IP Division is a market leader in the development and distribution of high-quality Physical IP. ARM offers IC designers a wide range of choices from its broad portfolio of high-density, low-power and ultra low-power standard cell, memory and IO products. The Physical IP Organization inside ARM creates Physical IPs which are extensively used by thousands of IC designers around the world to design leading edge chips. We are currently marketing and developing solutions from 180 nm to 32nm and research work on 22nm solutions is happening at various ARM design centers worldwide.

Trainee Recruitment:

We are seeking highly motivated students who have an interest in training within ARM’s Physical IP organization for up to 1 year. Depending on the performance of the trainees and the availability of vacancies, they might be taken as full-time employees or their training period will get extended. ARM is looking for people who have achieved outstanding academic grades as well as having a real passion for our industry. ARM needs people who are self-motivated, innovative and ready to take on the challenge of designing tomorrow’s digital world.

Desired Profile :

Education & Qualifications:
• BE/BTech in Engineering (2009 & 2010 passouts) in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
. Min 70% marks in the last degree

Essential Skills :
• Good concepts in Electrical/Electronics Engineering including VLSI and MOS transistor basics.
• Exposure to some circuit level simulators like SPICE.
• Good digital design background including Hardware language like Verilog or VHDL.
• Good analytical skill to solve circuit level issues.
• Good exposure to programming language like C, C++, PERL.

Desirable Skills :
• Good communication skill, willing to learn & explore new areas.
• Should be willing to work in a team.
• Motivated to continuously develop skills and accept a variety of responsibilities as part of contributing to the team’s success.
• Enthusiastic, flexible with strong inter-personal skills
