Executive – Software Testing

Job Description :

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

To develop & execute test cases to meet quality requirements of products as per business strategy

AREAS OF FOCUS

CLIENT

•Ensure clients and internal partners are satisfied with the quality of the applications developed

•Upon request or as specified by Supervisor update client on QC deliverables and schedules.

•Promptly and clearly respond to programmer queries pertaining to defect status, defect conflicts and resolutions

•Interact with the clients or Business Analysts to comprehensively understand use cases around all the modules of a product and clarify doubts/open situations

OPERATIONS

•Ensure all applications meet and exceed all quality requirements

•Study and understand product requirements and develop comprehensive and appropriate test cases

•Perform functional and load testes on product modules passed over to testing

•Participate in integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

•Prioritize tasks and seek assistance from Supervisor as applicable.

•Review project requirements and execute tests as per requirements following guidelines and deploying the tools/systems as applicable.

•Meet / exceed client requirements.

•Adhere to procedures like operational practices / procedures, Information security practices, attendance procedures, etc.

•Meet / exceed operational targets.

•Regularly and accurately update delivery reports

•Participate and Contribute in review meetings.

•Assist the supervisor in tasks / assignments like developing / executing new procedures / processes, diagnosis of problem / client issues, etc

•Escalate issues noticed in processes and projects to Supervisor in a timely manner

PEOPLE

•Help / buddy team members as requested by Supervisor

•Upon request from Supervisor, train new entrants

•Upon request, Assist Supervisor in handling teams and ensure project delivery through teams
