Micro refined tripled filtered soyabean refined edible oil is produced under the brand name Rasila. De-oiled cake is mainly used as a cattle feed and poultry feed.
The manufacturing units are located in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra with installed capacities of 170 MT per day refined oil, 21,000 MTPA news print and printing paper, 1,100 MT per day de-oiled cakes and oils, 80 MT per day paper board and duplex, 80 MT per day newsprint, 18 MW co-generated power, and 150 tons per day pulp. The backward integration program of manufacturing pulp will reduce import of raw material and would cater to about 80% of the requirements of the writing and printing paper unit. De-oiled cake is mainly exported to South East Asian countries and sold domestically across India. Duplex paper is supplied to companies like Ranbaxy and Dabur among others and newsprint paper to publication houses such as Indian Express, Enadu and Rajasthan Patrika.
The registered office is at 101, Jai Bhavani Society, Central Avenue, Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur-440008, and Maharashtra.
Financials
Murli Industries registered a 24.62% growth in net profits to Rs 212.24 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from a profit of Rs 170.31 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
